Louise is a mixed media and digital artist who finds inspiration in everything from beautiful fabrics to neon signs - and everything in between.

Louise is a Brit and a staunch Sinophile, who has travelled extensively through and lived in many parts of Asia including Hong Kong, Shanghai and now Singapore, with her husband and twin sons.  Her passion of all things Asian shines through in her work.

Her professional background is in high end packaging design for labels such as United Distillers (now Diageo), Crabtree & Evelyn, Highgrove (HRH Prince Charles), Fortnum & Mason’s and Marks & Spencers.

Louise's design background plays out in her work as she plans and multi-layers each piece of work with a huge amount of intricate detail.

Louise describes her process by saying "I create my artworks using my learned graphic design, illustration and photography skills and use all of my own imagery.  I photograph buildings, objects, textiles, ribbons and curated vintage props from my own collections, add in a dash of illustration and pattern, and sometimes little vintage imagery.

Once I have collected all of the subject matter I need for a design, I then digitally combine all of these images into a highly detailed multi layered finished artwork on my computer -  which in turn is then printed onto canvas or etching paper.  Some of my printed work on etching paper is also hand finished in gold and metallic inks using a tiny paintbrush and a lot of patience!"
